Uluru Cultural Tours

Malpa’s small group Uluru tours will take you on an immersive journey in culture and story around Australia’s most iconic natural wonder. Visit the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre to begin your experience and see incredible art, wood carvings and displays from across the region in our locally owned Maruku and Walkatjara Art studios. Your guide will then lead you through the most significant sites at the base of Uluru explaining our local Anangu people’s connection to country and their survival in this region for over 30,000 years. Follow the Mala Walk across Uluru’s north western side and listen to the legend of Kunia and Liru at the Mututjulu Waterhole. With our stories complete we head to the sunset viewing area to watch the incredible colours change as the sun sets over Uluru lighting the desert horizons that surround us.
