Terms & Conditions
Please take time to read and understand the Terms and Conditions before booking any services with Malpa Tours.
All bookings are made with Malpa Tours (ABN: 55 627 462 042). The terms "us", "we" and "our" refer to and mean Malpa Tours. The terms "trip" and "tour" refer to any booking agreements made and services provided by Malpa Tours.
Acceptance of booking
If we accept your booking a confirmation invoice will be issued. A contract will exist between us from the date we issue the confirmation invoice or if you book within 30 days of departure the contract will exist when we accept payment. Please refer to the booking confirmation invoice for details regarding final payments.
Cancellation by you
If you need to cancel your booking some fees will apply: cancelling 7 days or more prior to the departure date you will receive a full refund minus any unrecoverable costs. Cancellations within 7 days of the intended departure date will receive no refunds.
Cancellation by us
If Malpa Tours are forced to cancel a trip due to circumstances outside of our control a full refund will be given less any unrecoverable costs. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess or non-refundable flights.
COVID-19 Cancellations
If COVID-19 restrictions or quarantine laws are implemented that affect your travels and you need to cancel a trip you will receive a full refund minus any unrecoverable costs if cancelled more than 7 days prior to the trip’s commencement. You will receive a 50% refund of the total trip cost if cancelled less than 7 days prior to the trip’s commencement.
Booking Amendments
Once your booking is finalised and payment has been received, any changes or alterations requested by the persons who have secured the booking can incur an administration fee of up to $150. This fee is in addition to any charges levied by hotels, ground operators or airlines.
Travel Insurance
Personal travel insurance is not included in the cost of your booking. We recommend that you obtain personal travel insurance as Malpa Tours will not be held responsible for any loss of or damage to personal belongings, sickness or injury whilst on tour.
Authority on tour
All trips are run by a group leader whose decisions are final on all matters regarding the safety of any staff or tour participants. If you fail to comply we reserve the right to refuse you further onward travel with no right to a refund. You must comply at all times with Australian laws and customs.
Photos and marketing
Throughout the trip photos and audio-visual recordings will be taken. These may be used for future promotion and marketing in any medium we choose. By booking a trip with Malpa Tours you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes. If you do not wish to take part in our marketing or promotion then please let us know prior to the commencement of your trip.
